The American Hairdresser in Mexico: Meet Ronit Sabban, The Blonde Whisperer

Hello, I’m Ronit Sabban, and hair is my passion. As a color correction specialist, I’ve earned the nickname "The Blonde Whisperer" from my wonderful clients. However, while I adore working with blondes, I want to emphasize that I’m not just about blondes—I'm all about color in every form. Whether it’s a bold transformation or a subtle enhancement, I love creating and improving color to make a real difference in my clients' lives. After all, sometimes a small change can make all the difference.

From Maryland to Mexico

Originally from Maryland, I was trained and licensed as a professional hairdresser in the United States, which gives me an advantage in the vibrant expat community here in Mexico. One of my areas of expertise is working with fine hair, something I’ve always been accustomed to. Because of this, I attract a lot of clients from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia who are looking for someone who understands the needs of fine hair. It's my goal to make each client feel confident and beautiful with a personalized approach tailored to their hair’s specific needs.

Top Left: Heather’s Bold Blonde Transformation
Heather came to me with long, beautiful blonde hair, but her highlights needed a little extra lift. We added more highlights and brightened things up. Recently, she decided to go for a change, opting for a shorter, sassier cut while keeping her blonde locks. She looks stunning, doesn’t she?

Top Right: Marisol’s Hair Revival
Marisol came in with over-processed hair that was severely damaged from excessive bleaching. I brought her hair back to life with a combination of color correction, a precision cut to remove the damaged ends, and a revitalizing Mucota treatment. We re-highlighted her hair and restored its natural shine and structure. She left feeling like a brand-new woman!

Bottom Left: Brenda’s Color Correction
Brenda had chunky, stripy highlights that left her hair looking dry and frizzy. We worked together to correct the color, trimming the ends and creating a smooth, natural look that complemented her features. What a beautiful turnaround!

Bottom Right: Philippa’s Bold Red Makeover
Philippa started as a blonde, which suited her well, but she was ready for something new. She came in with a picture for inspiration and left with a gorgeous red hue that made her feel like a new person. It’s one of my favorite transformations!
