While lengthy gowns reigned the 2011 Golden Globe Awards red carpet, it was the hair that graced the awards show. Ranging from sophisticated updo's to fabulous fringe, locks were styled to perfection.
Bringing sophistication and elegance back the French twist is a refreshingly classic trend in hair and in Hollywood. These 3 looks are all equally beautiful. From the twist that boasted lots of height, to the sleek style to a short layer face, all look great for even an evening out with the girls! Really, get inspired by Hollywood.... try it out! Whoever your favorite star is or look is, give it a go. It doesn't have to be perfect to be sexy.
Forget the sides-wept bang sister... it's all about the front blunt bang! Check out these actresses at the Golden Globes and see the blunt-bang craze.
With bold, shiny curls dramatically swept to one side and sporting blunt bangs paired with super-long locks, this look is hot for 2011. Wet hair before to blow-drying to give straight strands texture and volume, Eyebrow-skimming fringe and sleek strands with pointed ends help you finish off this look just like Sandra Bullock.
When celebrities craved both height and length, they opted for sleek ponytails. You can go for the long bangs to frame your face while sweeping your mane into a pretty pony. Or add a bit of volume just beyond your hairline that blend into your ponytail to give volume and drama. If you like the J.Lo. look, try a tight slick look that flows into your ponytail.
Going retro with curvy strands, a dramatic side part and slightly messy waves is big this year. Megan Fox one of my favorite girls, showed her softer, sweeter side with romantic waves and swept to the side. And finally gorgeous curls pulled back from either side of the face you can achieve this last look with simple combs on either side.
