THE Blonde Color Specialist Mexico

Since I've been living and doing hair in Mexico my forte has been in making blondes blonder, lighter and more natural. Fixing orangey and white blondes and damaged blondes has been my thing. Lately what I'm finding is the blonder the better! As long as you take on a blonde that matches your skin tone, there are many shades of blonde that will illuminate you face and make you more beautiful! Each time and every time a client comes in I update their formula on my automated system weather we do the same thing or tweak it a bit. Sometimes people choose to keep their favorite blonde color while others choose to slightly vary with the season. Since we're coming into spring, this is the time of year I like to kick up my blondes one shade lighter to go with the warmer weather here in Mexico City. I also like to play with highlight/lowlights to break it up a bit. If you go really light and it tends to get solid looking you'll need to get it touched up more often as the roots will appear with more contrast. I also use a variety of different color lines. I choose to do so because I feel that different lines offer slightly different blondes. Some slightly more yellow/gold and others whiter/honeywheat. I select the line according to what I think will get you exactly to the color you want.

Most hairdressers in Mexico choose to do highlights using pure bleach then throwing on a toner with the color they want to achieve at the end. My approach is different. I say why use harsh bleach when you don't have to? These days high lift colors are so good that they not give you a beautiful blonde but they have conditioners in the color leaving your hair softer, shiner, and healthier! After doing a beautiful highlight service I suggest to my clients to do a clear glaze on top in order to seal in the color in and give it a extra kick of shine!
