Low Maintenance Glam

Leslie's hair is for those who want to go platinum blonde! Leslie came to me with damaged blonde highlighted hair that was orange-y in some parts and yellow-y in other parts. And it had been bleached over and over so the ends were super damaged on the ends.

My first mission was to correct her color and improve the texture of her hair. I was able to do that through color correction, gloss and trimming the ends. Within 1 or 2 appointments her hair was healthy again. Since then we've decided to take Leslie's hair up another notch. We went Platinum Blonde!

And since her hair is now is such good condition we could do that without damaging her hair. Leslie comes in every 4 weeks to touch up the roots her beautiful blonde. In order to keep her ends shiny and sealed instead of frayed we apply a clear gloss. This also coats the hair for extra protection. And since she wants to keep growing her hair we do a slight trim that I call a 'dusting' that keeps the ends blunt so her hair grows in healthy.

When Lizzie started coming to me she had a few lights to camouflage her premature grey but they weren't enough to highlight her face which is what they should do as well. So, we added more highlights to brighten up her face and low-lights to camouflage her grey. Since Lizzie only plans to come in once every 2-2 1/2 months I chose colors that offer a seamless grow-out phase.

She decided to go with a an ombre effect on the ends for the spring and summer to give a little punch to color over all color. We balayaged some extra blonde on the ends fading it out to keep it natural looking.

Low maintenance was the goal so when Lizzie comes to see me, we just touch up her roots with highlights and low-lights, give her ends a trim and finish everything off with a gloss!

Jenny first came to me with dark brown curly hair, but it was too curly and too dark. It didn’t soften her face at all which is what looks better as we age.

Her goal was to look younger and more vibrant, but she wasn't sure what to do. I decided to brighten her up by adding a slightly lighter color on the roots and some highlights to break up her all over color. She loved it! She went to her high school reunion and everyone told her how great she looks!

Jenny comes in every 4 weeks to keep up with her grey but doesn't want to spend hours each time for highlights, cut and gloss. So, we color her roots every 4 weeks and highlight and gloss her hair every second to third time. This saves her time and money and keeps her hair looking great all the time!
